Abstract. The analysis of uranium components of mineral and fresh groundwater from Chita Transbaikal is performed in comparison with those from key areas of Quaternary, Holocene and Historical volcanic eruptions in Inner Asia and mineral waters from carbonates of the Siberian platform.

Keywords: groundwater, uranium, 234U/238U, Cherdyntsev-Chalov effect, geothermometer.
