Abstract. On the basis of the 2002-2016 field studies on high-altitude terranes, the revised map of aufeis in the area is presented. The geological role of aufeis in relief and transfer of clastic material is exemend. New landforms created by frazils are described.
Keywords: aufeis, high terrain, frazil terrace, frazil glade, cone stem.
