Abstract. Activities of the government and society have an impact on the population of the Amur tiger. Related processes of recession, stabilization and growth of the number of animal species are analyzed. The main attention is focused on the legal basis and promotion of preservation and protection of the Amur tiger. It has a future, if effective protection of tigers and hoofeds from poachers and preservation their habitats will be provided.
