All-Russian scientific and practical conference of students and young scientists on "Earth Sciences" in cooperation with the M.S. Gutseriev Institute of oil and gas of Udmurt State University

Abstract. This article describes the organisation and conduct of a scientific conference devoted to geological and oil and gas areas, as well as the results of this conference. The conference programme included the sections: "Drilling of Oil and Gas Wells", "Development and Exploitation of Oil and Gas Fields", "Geology of Oil and Gas Fields" and "Regional Geology". The participants' presentations were evaluated by an expert committee according to the criteria of relevance, scientific novelty, personal contribution, practical significance, depth of development, economic efficiency, quality of presentation and mastery of the material. The commissions included faculty members from the Gutsiriev Institute of Oil and Gas and the Department of Geology of Irkutsk State University.
