Unique Geological Objects of Field Practice in Geomapping on Lake Baikal: Location and the Most Characteristic Observation Points

Abstract. The article gives a brief description of unique rock, mineralogical and mineragenic formations (rare rocks, minerals and minerals): the Archean Sharyzhalgai series, the Lower Proterozoic Slyudyansky series, the Lower Roterozoic Khangarul and Khamar-Daban series, granite-pegmatites of the Slyudyansky complex, the Upper Middle Riphean three-membered Baikal complex, which are studied by 2nd year students of Irkutsk University at the field practice in geomapping.
