Abstract. A review of radiogenic isotope data indicates significant processing of the lithosphere ca. 2.7 Byr ago on a global and regional (Siberian) scales. This time marks the beginning of the middle geodynamic epoch of Asian mantle evolution that ends ca. 1.8 Byr ago. The middle mantle geodynamic epoch corresponds to the lithosphere generation that resulted in large continental segregations of the Siberian and other paleocontinents.

Keywords: Earth's evolution, middle geodynamic stage, U/Pb, Sm/Nd, Re/Os isotope systems
