Results of the Annual Scientific Conference of Students and Young Scientists on Earth Sciences of the Geological Faculty

Abstract. Currently, research skills are one of the mandatory competencies of graduates of higher educational institutions. To stimulate students to engage in research, the geological faculty of Irkutsk State University annually holds a scientific conference at which the results of geological studies of students and young scientists are presented. This article provides an analysis of the scientific research presented at the conference.
