Abstract. A comparative analysis of the oxidation-reduction potential (ORP) records of groundwater in the Kultuk area during the 2024, 2025, and 2026 Baikal freeze-ups was performed. Distinct piezoelectric effects were revealed in the ORP variations in January–March 2024, observed as regular ORP minima accompanying the deformations of the lake ice cover. During the January–April 2025 freeze-up, only rare ORP minima were revealed in the ORP records, and during the January–April 2026 freeze-up, two complications in the records associated with ice cover deformations were recorded: a sharp decrease in ORP values at the beginning (January 26) and a single deep minimum at the end (April 13). A dependence of ORP variations corresponding to the piezoelectric effects of ice on seismogenic deformations in the crust of the Baikal Rift System (BRS) and magnetic storms has been revealed, although the possibility of the disappearance of ORP minima in the records of 2025–2026 due to a violation of the sensitivity of signal reception by the sensor cannot be ruled out.
