Improving the Practical Training of Geology Students Using Simulation Complexes and Training and Production Sites

Abstract. The article discusses the issue of the formation of practical competencies of students of the field of study 05.03.01 Geology profile Geology and Geology, development of oil and gas fields, as well as the areas of training 21.05.02 Applied Geology, specialization Geology of oil and gas fields. The experience of integrating theoretical training with classes on modern simulation simulators (AMT-231) and training and production sites is described. The effectiveness of an integrated approach to the study of the structure of drilling rigs, drilling technologies, as well as methods for the prevention and elimination of gas, oil, and water spills (OGWP) is analyzed. It is concluded that the combination of virtual modeling of technological processes and work on real mining and drilling equipment makes it possible to bring the level of training of graduates as close as possible to the requirements of oil and gas production enterprises.
