Abstract. New requirements of the Federal State Educational Standards of Higher Education (FSES HE) and also approval of professional standards assume changes in arrangement, content, technology, and scale of teaching. This paper presents problems and prospects for the implementation of the FSES HE for two profiles of undergraduate teaching and graduate training on "Geographical education" as the basis for the creation of productive communicative educational environment, where main authors are students, teachers and researchers.
